Vivace Espresso is a privately owned, specialist coffee roasting company established in Christchurch in 1997 by Bernard Smith; third generation coffee roaster, Master Barista and Master Roaster.

Originally a small roastery/café in the CBD, enter Paul Baker, hospitality professional, coffee addict and driving force for the company. From humble beginnings, the dual dedication of Paul and Bernard has grown Vivace to become a leader in the New Zealand coffee industry supplying discerning customers throughout the country.

Along the way, we’ve built a strong team of dedicated professionals with a wealth of skills and experience. Through our unwavering focus on the quality and consistency of our coffee, our dedication to on-going barista training and our commitment to using our considerable hospitality management experience to assist our customers in their businesses, we have built an enviable reputation and loyal customers.
